Hang on Miller fans! There are some allegations rocking the net. In case you have been under a rock for the past few days and not been reading my many blog updates, there are some people claiming that Miller has utilized a push-poll. Now, I don’t believe it, and neither should you, but it seems that some people on the Miller campaign could not take the heat. And so, I am sad to announce, this latest news story: Harris to lose more key campaign staffers.

Oracles Show the Future!

Oracle pulled out of the ITAA upon learning of his Senate bid. It seems the company believes GOP Sen. George Allen, the man Miller would unseat, is doing a fine job. "It concerned many of us at Oracle that ... Miller would consider challenging Senator Allen, considering the great things he's done," Oracle legal VP Robert Hoffman said in an E-mail.

What can we learn from the people at Oracle? That Harris Miller, according to the future, will not be Senator. This means he will be Governor.

As we all know, Miller's 'Senate' campaign website is www.miller2006.org. Have any of you checked out www.miller2009.org? Well, let me save you the time and just tell you: its available.

What does this prove? At first, it may look like it discredits my notion of Miller's race to the Governorship. However, Harris Miller is no fool. He does not yet want to make public any plans he may have for 2009. And so, he has not yet purchased the domain. That's the sort of brainpower that can keep Virginia moving forward in 2009.

Wes Clark is refusing to endorse Miller for Senate! Thats right, in a move that befuddles all but the sharpest of the Commonwealth's political minds, Clark will not endorse Miller! What does this mean? Why is he doing this? My extensive experience as a political operative draws me to one certain conclusion: by endorsing his opponent (Webb), Clark is trying to cause Miller to lose! Now why, you may ask, would Clark try so hard to cause a Democrat to lose? Because Clark himself perceives Miller as a threat. Not for the Senate seat, but for Governorship, and than, following in Warner's footsteps, for Presidency. Clark knows he can't beat the candidate who already has the failed Senate bid/successful Governorship on his resume (Warner) so how could he possible beat two? He can't, and so, Wes Clark is not endorsing Miller.

We have made it to the big time!

Yes, you read that correctly! It is now early 2006, but harrismillerfan, with daring previously unknown to the Commonwealth, is ready to call the 2009 Governor's race. And now, ladies and gentlemen, is the call that will be heard from Bristol to Virginia Beach, from Winchester to Danville:

In 2009, Harris Miller will be elected Governor of the Commonwealth. I guarantee it.*

*assuming he gets the 2006 Senate nomination

I did a lot of thinking this weekend. I can see from my poll results and the many not very nice posts I have received that some people are still misunderstanding what this blog is all about. Let me state plainly: I am not employed by the Miller campaign. I am simply a realist, who sees that Miller needs this statewide exposure to be elected Governor in 2009. I challenge anyone reading this to explain how, without a statewide campaign in 2006, Miller can easily capture the governorship in 2009.

UPDATE II: The poll has been overrun with pro-Webb bloggers, or Webblogers as I call them. So we can't say much based on the results except that Miller is considered Mark Warner-esq by many people.

No More Spiderman

Ok, I know I do lose some credibility for being such a Harris Miller fan, but here is the argument that I think will demonstrate to even the most ardent James Webb worshiper that it’s best for Virginia's Democratic party that Mr. Webb gracefully drops his current bid for Senate.

Refute this, Webblogs (get it?):

1) If Webb beats out Miller for the nomination, then Miller does not get to run a statewide campaign.
2) Without a statewide campaign, Miller’s name ID will not be high enough to capture the Governorship in 2009.
3) Harris Miller is a Mark Warner style Democrat, i.e. he is extremely electable as Governor.
4) The only way that Miller can become Governor in 2009 is if Webb abandons his 2006 Senate run.

Q.E.D – Webb, to practically guarantee that Miller is elected Governor in 2009 must abandon his campaign!

A Hybrid Car for a Hybrid Campaign

Hope all of you in the cyberinternetworld had chance to check out this in the Richmond Report:

Miller accepted the endorsements from Connolly and supervisors Penny Gross and Sharon Bulova. He said he has traveled 9,000 miles in his hybrid car as he has campaigned across the state. But he said he loves coming home to Fairfax.

Does Webb have a hybrid car? Does Webb have any sort of pro-environmental stand? I agree that a Senator from Virginia may not need to be strong on the environment, but the Governor certainly does!

Sounds like a team custom-made for carrying Miller into the Governor's mansion in '09. All thats left is increasing Miller's name ID, which is nothing that a Senate campaing can't take care of!

So perhaps some of you in cyberspace didn't realize it, but Harris Miller was until recently a lobbyist for the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA). If for no other reason, this alone makes him a quality choice for Senate (or Governor in '09). Right now our county is plaggued by the shady dealings of lobbyists, who do what they can to take advantage of politicans. However, imagine if a lobbyist was elected. They would not fail prey to lobbyist tricks. See?
